GREEN PARTY CALLS FOR PLANNING ENFORCEMENT AT CITY WEST BY SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

The Green Party has called on South Dublin County Council to issue enforcement proceedings against the developers of the Citywest Convention Centre.

"No one should be above the law,” stated Ciarán Cuffe TD of the Green party today. "Ireland's planning laws should be observed by both the rich and poor, and Jim Mansfield should await the outcome of the appeal to An Bord Pleanála, as they may well rule against the development.

“Creating facts on the ground in advance of the Board's decision is a dangerous interference with proper procedures.”

We are calling on the South Dublin County Council to go beyond issuing warnings and issue enforcement proceedings against the developers.
