Voluntary Housing Units

Ciarán Cuffe asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the most recent years figures for the amount of voluntary housing units completed; and if he will provide same for the previous four years.

Minister For Environment, Heritage & Local Government: The available information on the number of units completed in each local authority area in respect of the voluntary housing schemes is published in the Department's Quarterly and Annual Housing Statistics Bulletins. Copies of the bulletins, including September 2004, are available in the Oireachtas library. Figures for the remainder of 2004 are at present being compiled and will be published in due course.
