Minister For
Justice, Equality and Law Reform:
I am informed by the Garda Authorities that the Commissioner appointed a chief superintendent to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident referred to in the Deputy’s question. The report of the examination has been submitted to the Law Offices for consideration.
In the circumstances it would not be appropriate for me to comment further at this time.
