Ciarán Cuffe
asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if
he will make available figures that he might have regarding a change in
the amount of planning applications for one-off rural houses arising
from the adoption of the rural planning guidelines. |

Minister for the
Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Mr. Roche): The
information sought is not available in my Department in regard to
planning applications. The Central Statistic Office publishes quarterly
statistics on planning as part of the housing quarterly statistics. This
identifies planning permissions granted for one-off houses.
