Forum on Fluoridation

Ciarán Cuffe asked the Minister for Health and Children if she will reinstate the Forum on Fluoridation websiteand if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health and Children (Ms Harney): The Forum on Fluoridation website has been reactivated for information purposes. The address of the website is www.fluoridationforum.ie. The Irish Expert Body on Fluorides and Health (Expert Body) was set up on the recommendation of the Forum. Its website address is www.fluoridesandhealth.ie. This website provides ongoing information on the work and progress of the Expert Body, including information on fluorides and health, and fluoridation in general. It also provides a link to the 2002 report of the Forum on Fluoridation.
