Latest delay shows that the Department is in control of the Minister, and has no appetite for political reform
Green Party Councillors across Dublin’s four Local Authorities have today expressed their disappointment in the latest delay on proposals for a Directly Elected Mayor of Dublin.

The Green Party has called for a review of waste licensing in Ireland after yesterday’s large fire at the yesterday’s fire at the St Margarets / Sandyhill vehicle recycling facility in North Dublin. It called on the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment to tighten up licensing and procedures for such facilities. Continue reading
